Woodcut Show at 15th Street Studio

Last Thursday was the opening for The Woodcut Show at 15th Street Studio in Boulder.  It was an amazing exhibition of woodcuts by many nationally known artists that worked with print publisher Bud Shark of Shark's Ink in Lyons, Colorado. Some of my favorite prints were by Bud's wife, Barabra Shark. I liked her simple carved shapes, and the transparent layering of colors in her prints. There are also several impressive large woodcut prints by John Buck on display not to miss. Luckily at the opening I was able to say hello to Bud and ask him a few questions. I highly recommend woodcut fans to go see this great exhibition.
